P: Nano Banana not available in latest Photoshop Beta

I just installed the latest Photoshop Beta (27.0), the notes for which say that the Nano Banana image model is included. But when I attempt to use Generative Fill, the only models available in the dropdown are Firefly models 1 & 3 - no Nano Banana.

Hi, I've installed PS Beta, the Nano Banana plugin is here but whenever I try to use it, nothing happens. No error, nothing. It just starts generating with the prompt I've wrote, even the simpliest of things, it appears "Generating" but then nothing happens. What am I missing here?

Don't know what is causing problems for other users, but I have been able to use both the Nano Banana & Flux Context Pro image models successfully since I installed the newer update the day after I posted my original comment.

You might be using an individual licence. Enterprise / team licensces doesnt have the option included.

Add me to the list of people NOT seeing NanoBanana in the GenFil dialog. Additionally, this morning it "looked" like there was a beta update which said this feature was in this beta (27.0), I checked and I'm already using beta 27.1 and it STILL has no NanoBanana.

The version number does not always increment with the beta version. It's the m.#### number that you need to look at. So go Help > System Info. This seems to be the current version as I type this.

I'm finding that the CC Desktop app is slow today.  In fact it just threw up an error after I hit Check for Updates.  I feel sure that Adobe uses multiple servers, so that response time is likely to depend on your location — unless you are signed in with Starlink. 😉  I'm in NZ

You can try signing out and back in to your account in the CC app.  We used to believe that used to be how to bypass staggered updates by location.  I don't know if that was true, however.

I think I "may" have found part of the problem. I don't see a PS ver 27 on my system. I have 2026 and the Beta plus many previous PS releases however  V27 hasn't loaded.

I went to download it from the manager and I see I can "launch" it on the web browser but see no option to download it. What am I missing? We have a corporate account and it's always auto updated. Why would v27 not be available for download?

Update:

I clicked on the "Launch Photoshop" on the browser manager and it popped to the PS I had open on my workstation. The app Identifies PS as Photoshop 2026 (upper right - images attached). If I do an "About Photoshop" It shows ver 27.0 but when I open an image and show the genfill menu there's still no NanoBanana. WTH!?

I have the same problems when trying to generate , I get an error saying sth about admin system rights. I think that is maybe because of Europe  again? Does it work international or are we European creatives again at the end of the line waiting for new releases?

I contacted them and they have no idea what to change.

I just discovered that Nano Banana is available on my Photoshop Beta. *Here's the issue though* Apparently, I wasn't finding it before because it doesn't show when using the crop tool for generative expand. You have to select the image, and then click Generative Fill in Contextual Bar, then select Nano Banana as your model. FYI, there is a limit to your free credits for it if you are just on a Photoshop plan like me. I already used mine up, but it works great once you find it.

It is unlikely. You might be having an individual license. Most of the cases here are for those who use an enterprise license.

I have a personal account with Adobe and also a Teams account. The premium Partner AI features work on my personal account but not on my work account in Teams. I have spoken to our IT department and they said "Standard Generative Features" are turned on in the Admin Console, however, I think they may be missing the place where they permit the premium features, like Nano Banana and Flux Kontext Pro. Can anyone possibly provide clear instructiions to activate these premium features in the Admin Console, and possible screenshots if available? I do see Nano Banana and Flux Kontext Pro in Generative Fill, however, when I try to use them, I receive the error message, "Your system administrator isn't allowing access..."

we have an enterprise version and there is no button to allow third party KI models. What can we do?

I was able to find this information. The toggle is in the Admin Console.

Our admin does not show the "Non-Adobe generative AI models" tab in their admin console as of November 5, 2025. Is there somewhere else for our admin to look?

I discovered my company is a nonprofit and has Creative Cloud for Teams, which isn't technically Enterprise (even though it shows up like that on my account page). CC for Teams or educational licenses won't have access to the non-Adobe models.

I am on CC for Teams and have access to Partner AI models.
