Photoshop Beta 27 - Generative Fill Issue

New Here ,
Oct 02, 2025 Oct 02, 2025

Updated to beta version 27 and generative fill isn't working… at all.

When clicking on the button in the contextual bar I only get the the error message "this function is currently not available".

De- and reinstalled the beta 27 version a few times, internet conection is fine, also had no issues with the previous version.

Does anybody have the same problem?

@rentamonster are you able to navigate to Firefly.adobe.com and render items without issue?

The reason I ask is to determine if its a server issue or a router/firewall block on your end.

Hi Kevin

Thank you for youe response, I have just testet firefly and it performed flawlessly.

Forgot to mention that I also installed Photoshop 28.11.0 and gemerative fill works perfectly there,

therefore, I suspect that it is neither the firewall nor the router causing the problem.

Gerenative Credits are currently at 4000/4000.

I can press the remove button in the beta version and it actually shows the progress window, but after a while it vanishes und nothing happened.
