Hi everyone,
I'm using the latest version of Photoshop Beta and noticed that the "Dynamic Text" button appears in the toolbar, but it is always grayed out and cannot be clicked.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Using a Point Text layer (not Paragraph Text)
- Using supported fonts like Arial and Helvetica
- Text is written in English
- Photoshop interface is set to English (North America)
- Photoshop Beta is updated to the latest version
- Restarted the app and even tried a new document
Still, the Dynamic Text button remains inactive.
Is this feature limited to certain regions or Adobe accounts?
Has anyone successfully activated it, and if so, how?
Thanks in advance for any help!

@AIFI Media Solutions Is there a reason why you are using the 'Beta' and not the regular version of Photoshop? The 'Beta' is really for testing purposes

The beta has been my default version pretty much since it became available. I have only rarely had glitches, and it was super nice having access to new features months before they were available on the release version. As ACEs we should be doing our best to find issues as well, and all the more so when posters ask about their own issues with the beta version.
You need to make a Type layer before the button becomes active.
Is that what you are doing, and finding the button is still greyed out?

@AIFI Media Solutions @Meprst
I found a solution — select the text layer, go to Properties, and change the paragraph direction from Right to Left to Left to Right.

Thank you for your response
It works, but for some peculiar reason, the direction changes back to right-to-left every new text layer. Couldn't find how to change that. Maybe it's a bug ...
Thank you again for your help.
