I am gettting this error "Photoshop Beta is not yet available for devices using Apple silicon" when I try to install the PS Beta and Premier Beta apps. Is there a work around for this? Thanks!
Hi all, I just contacted the Adobe support team and found out how to solve the problem now.
1. Sign out of the Creative Cloud desktop app and close all Adobe apps.
2. Then click on Finder> Click on the GO menu at the top on the right side of Apple logo > click on "Go To Folder" and paste this location
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/Configs/
3. Delete the ServiceConfig.xml file.
4. After that, restart and sign in to the CC app again
5. Now you can see the beta version in the CC app.

Hi. I am getting the same error when trying to update the beta app. I get the dredded pop up box from hell telling me to update beta that never goes away. Any workarounds? I have the M3 Max chip and am on Sequoia 15.2. Working on a MacBook Pro laptop. (Nov 2023)

Why can my iMac M1 and Mac Mini M1 install the beta version but my Mac Studio M2 Max can't? Is M1 not Mac silicon?

Are you trying to install the Photoshop Beta from the Adobe website or using the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application in Applications/Adobe Creative Cloud?

I have tried it both ways. I always get the same error saying it's not released yet for apple silicon users. My coworkers who have computers one generation older than mine have no issues. I seem to be the problem child.

I think you went to the wrong library. The library is under your HD library, not the user library.
You just click on "Go to Folder" Cmd+Shift+G. "⌘ (command) + ⇧ (shift) + G" and paste the location.
(/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/Configs/)
Then you should be able to see it.

It works! After struggling with the issue of missing beta versions of Adobe apps in the Creative Cloud app on my M2 MacBook Pro, I’ve finally found a fix. It was also showing that "Photoshop Beta is not yet available for devices using Apple silicon"
I had tried multiple solutions without any success. What ultimately worked was deleting the entire configs folder. Deleting just the ServiceConfig.xml file didn’t help, as that was being regenerated immediately. Once I removed the full folder, the beta apps showed up, and I now have a dedicated Beta Apps section in the Creative Cloud app that wasn’t there before.
Everything is running smoothly now. Thank you!
