Photoshop Beta telling me to update, but CC says "up to date"

I downloaded Photoshop Beta today and went to use generative fill and kept getting this notice:

But when I check the CC app for updates, it doesn't give me the option to, and tells me I have the latest version.

I've tried uninstalling the app, signing out of Creative Cloud, but neither of those worked. Any advice on how to move forward?

Hi @Samantha26790971vjt2 it appears you have an edu account and it is possible your IT Admin is blocking the update:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/enterprise-teams-discussions/photoshop-beta-not-available-in-creative...

Please contact them and ask to allow the update.

I have the exact same problem but im not on an edu account. Do you have any fixes i can do ? My situation is the same as @Samantha26790971vjt2 except the account type.

@sam311200615ozb please share a screenshot of your home CCD screen showing your apps. Have you logged out and restarted your computer, then log back into CCD, do you see the update notice after clicking on check for updates?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

I have excat the same problem on photoshop beta and I've tried all the methods I found here to fix it. But it still shows "update now" sign when I use it. Below attached with the ccd screenshot and the system info. Can you please help me? Thank you so much 🙂

@Tai-en30858042x1mq you have a team account and as listed above, it is possible your IT Admin is blocking the beta. Please review the link above to the thread and share that with your IT team. This is not an issue with the Ps beta but your account and the ability to block betas by your IT admin team.

I have an individual account and I get the same. I don't know where to update it, and the notice blocks my last image name so I can't close it. Somewhere it said to un-install and then re-install, so I'll try that.

pammomunoz@hotmail.com uninstall the beta then relaunch the CC desktop app. You will see the update as available. Some betas require a full new install instead of an update.
