Hi. Why do I get this message when I use the “Remove” tool?

I guess macOS Ventura is not such an old operating system for this tool to be so slow.

I am using macOS Ventura 13.6.8. Regards!

Hi Manu_74,

There was an issue with MacOS 13 that impacted the performance of the Remove Tool, but Apple was able to fix with MacOS 14.  They are not going to update MacOS 13.x so you'll need to update the MacOS  to 14.6 or newer if you're running into really slow processing times with the Remove Tool.
Have you noticed the Remove Tool seems to take a long time?
Thanks,
Meredith

Thank you for replying, Meredith. Sorry I didn't specify the problem properly. When I said that the tool was slow with macOS Ventura, I meant that it is only very slow when it is removing lines and cables; however, when it comes to removing people and other things, the tool is fine.
And indeed, with macOS Sonoma, the tool works absolutely fine.
Although, I really didn't like having to upgrade to macOS Sonoma, just to make a tool run smoothly. Regards!
