I have an image with text in it (the text is just part of the image, not a separate layer) and what I want to do is move the text to a different part of the image.
I drew a rough selection around the text and told the generative AI feature to "remove text" and it did this nicely, filling in a background that matches the rest of the image. So it obviously recognized the text.
What I want to do next is get the text back into a separate layer with a transparent background so I can place it elsewhere in the image. I can't figure out a way to do this. Is it possible?

Hi @frankl10664457 you should make a duplicate layer of the text before removing with AI. Then move the text layer to your new position and use selections/masks to blend it in.

I don't think this will work. The duplicate layer will still have the background from the original location.

Hi @frankl10664457 - per my last part, you'll need to make a selection of the text and mask it out to blend it in. How familiar are you with Photoshop and compositing?
