Text on patch tool bug. I made copy of rectangle and pasted some text. After exiting edit text mode - text dissapeared. Screenshot shows behavior. If I try to edit text again - it appears. Restarting PS doesnt solve trouble. I attached screenshots and PSD sp you can reproduce and poke it (i rasterised smart objects to get to file limit size so only edit i made after is that). Is this an ordinary paragraph text layer?  I responded to a thread earlier today where text on a path was disappearing. I wonder if it is linked?

Hello. Seems same. I tested your suggestion about dragging text layer around and its definetely working. CMD+T - drag - Enter. Moving with arrow keys doesnt work. Video of recreating bug and semi-solving in attachment. Link to dropbox with .mov https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/6ohioy1ugkqdsakgktmwt/IMG_5715.MOV

Hi @Clever_adventure8373 do you see the same issue with the recent Ps beta update?

Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.5.0 20250309.m.3003 e305078 arm64

If so:

1. Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

2. It may help if we could see your Photoshop beta System Info. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thanks,

Cory - Photoshop Product Manager
