Hello I searched a lot about this topic, but can't find anything.
Since the update for Photoshop 26.3. I dont have the option anymore to add a new layer, the blending options also disappeared; like the whole bar is no more.
How can I add thm again? I can still finde them in the menu or via shortcut, but that is just tedeous...
Am I missing something?
While we do have controls to hide the New Layer option in menus, there is no way to customize which buttons appear in panels such as Layers. If you are missing these and resetting preferences (which may cause this sort of behavior through corruption) doesn't help, I'd guess you are on a controlled machine. You mention working with IT, so I'm guessing you are in a corporate, government, or educational environment. This feature may have been taken away at some higher level and, if that is the case

@diniJV try resetting the workspace
If that doesn't help, try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to back up your settings before doing the preference reset
