Big RAM usage during perspective warp

lately I've been having problems when i use the "perspective warp" tool, i get the "not enough ram" error
but i have 32gb of ram and the program consumes 99% of them when i see in the task manager. 
is there a way to not consume so much ram?

Did you ever figure this out? I have exact same issue. I have a document with one perspective warped smart object. If I update that smart object and save, the memory usage shoots up to 99% (eats basically everything there is available), after a while errors comes back saying "Could not complete the task due to not enough memory" and the perspective warp in the main document gets disabled. If I try to enable the perspecive warp the same thing happens. If I close the parent document, open it back up, enabling the perspetive warp works like a charm.
