@Jawwe What OS are you on?  Can you provide a screenshot or recording of what you're seeing?  I'm not able to repro.  Also, are you experiencing this with all different brushes or just one in particular?  Thanks!

I still have this issue. Symmetry edges doesnt go to the side. Its staying small no matter how much I try to drag them to the edges.

We've got a fix for this now and should be in the next release.  Thanks for your patience!

Still have this problem in Photoshop CC 2024. And I find the symmetry tool worked when i hide all other layers. And although it shows bugs with pixel white blocks when using paiting tool along with symmetry tool, the painting itself works, just not showing properly.

We have it on our backlog.  This happens on the edges with slower strokes.  Not the best solution but as a workaround, the easiest thing to do is to make the document bigger by an inch all around — to have some safety border area.  And when finished crop out that extra safety border area.

Thank you for letting us know. I have reported this as a bug to the team.

I'm also having this issue. Dual Axis symmetry still works fine for some reason, but not Horizontal and Vertical. My workaround is just using Dual Axis slid partially off screen.
