It might be due to an update, but now, I can't snap layers even when snap is turned on. It always worked before. I've tried turning it off and on again and again, but it does'nt work. Adobe Photoshop vs 26.1.0

Thanks maxc2. I found a work-around, if I snap it into a corner and drag from the middle handles it will snap to the image sides, then I just move the layer where I want it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19XD8-NjfmbURyahsXE2Ib9qh0TvJhNsO/view?usp=sharing

Adobe seems to be worsening their apps in recent updates, things are so infuriating now

If the layer you are trying to snap to is a background layer sometimes Photoshop doesn’t recognize background layers for snapping. Convert it to a regular layer by double-clicking "Background" in the Layers panel and renaming it

The only other things I can think of are; Ensure smart guides are checked. In 'snap to' make sure relevant options like Layers, Guides, Grid, etc are checked. If grids aren't being used, you can try and disable that, just in case it's trying to snap to a grid by mistake.

Here's a video, it looks like the top part snaps in, but I can't get the other corner won't. (this image is just for reference, not the actual image I am modifying.)  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1chPf07s4f3aKz2pufzQ8iyZdh1rxdaFL/view?usp=sharing

Yes, sharp edges, I even just copied the bottom layer and pasted it as a layer above, same thing, no snap.
