Below is translation:

Since today's Photoshop update, Indesign suddenly works very slowly?

Do you mean when both programs are running at the same time?

Hello

Just updated Photoshop and when I go to

Browse in Bridge

It just opens the CC app, but when I open Bridge via the program itself it gives me an error, unfortunately I didn't make a screen capture of the context box, but it says that the Bridge Version ( is the last version since I kept my apps updated) is not compatible with the new version of Photoshop.

After a few tries It opens it but another context box saying that the Bridge Scripts are not compatible with the new version, if I want to load them.
I clicked OK, it solves the problem but, if I close Bridge and try to open via Photoshop menu, browse in bridge , sends me back to CC app

Going to try in the other PC, they booth run Win 11 .

Thank you

@Ged_Traynor thanks for tip, but...

every update says it has performance improvents - and then it breaks something again and again... and i have to work to make money to pay Adobe engineers for their software and not to play with unistalling and installing working versions everytime new update is out... not mentioning that installing and uninstalling aplications is incredibly slow and hardware burdening, so i almost cant do anything else while installing apps

i would suggest Adobe to pause developing new versions for some time and clean bugs in existing versions first, including longterm bugs, because working with Adobe products is pain... I cant remember which version was trouble free last time

I have just updated PS 26.5 and now it is broken again.

Startup script cannot be switched on in Bridge.

After updating to Photoshop v 26.5 this morning, I get an error when opening InDesign and Illustrator. What can I do to fix it?

Error in c:\program files (x86)\common files\adobe\startup scripts cc\adobe photoshop\photoshop-v2025.jsx line 2798: {no matching closing brace found

Oddly enough... reverting to previous version then re-updating fixed the issue so something must have happened during initial update?

Some are finding that uninstalling Photoshop and reinstalling it resolves this issue for them.

Thank you for reporting this @derekwatson , strangely I wasn't able to find the crash reports but appreciate you sending them off.

The team will investigate what might be going on here, apologies for the trouble!

Cheers,

PG

I have reverted to PhotoShop 24.6.1 and the issue has been resolved but there must be a problem with 26.5 update
