P: Photoshop Generative Fill - We've encountered an issue and can't complete your request Oct 16

Hi,

 

I've been unable to use any of the generative AI functionality within Photoshop for the last 12 hours. I rely on this functionality heavily so my workflow has been severely disrupted. Is anyone else having issues? I get an error any time I try to generate anything - I've never encountered this problem before. It's not a problem with credits as I have plenty.

Generative AI functionality within Photoshop has not worked for me all day, on either iMac or laptop, and I have plenty of credits. “We’ve encountered an issue and can’t complete your request at this time. Please try again later.” Well… I’ve been trying since early this morning and my work day is almost over, and I depend on this feature. Adobe, please help!

A post in this thread from 5 months ago shared a link, and it is not saying there’s an issue with the service.

FINALLY back up and running! However now Adobe Express is acting weird. So many bugs happening! So glad firefly is working again though.

@Hayden295210840i56 Thanks for keeping me updated and crazy that Adobe were not aware of the issue despite the fact we had all been posting about it for the last week. Cheers for getting the message through.

I just checked and the issue is now resolved for me here in Sweden and am over the moon that I can finally put these stressful 7 days behind me! It happened right in the middle of some tight deadlines, couldn't have been worse timing for me.

@alexander_5788 so they now know about it (insane that there was no communication before) and we were told the Status Page for this specific issue is here: https://status.adobe.com/products/536716/CHG002363741

 

Believe they also said they're close to fixing it (could just be corporate language to keep us happy) but the page above says it's expected to be fixed by 8:55pm UK so fingers crossed for that... I guess...

Still does not work for us - used it yesterday morning than it just stopped with the "We have encountered an issue" error.

@alexander_5788 I believe our IT team has a call with Adobe today in an hour to find out what's going on. Will drop back here if there's anything they say but considering the lack of communication for a week now... I'm not too confident...

Everyone in our office has a Pro account and no generative features are working since Oct 16.

 

  • Firefly on the web says "You don't have access to Firefly."
  • Photoshop - Generative Fill says "We've encountered an issue and can't complete your request"
  • Illustrator Beta - Turntable says "This feature is turned off. Contact your admin for details."

 

Everything mentioned above still worked on Oct 15. Our admin didn't change any account settings.

 

Adobe, please fix your stuff.
