I keep getting pop-up "Help" or "Tips" or whatever, but the "No Thank You" button doesn't work

Bad enough that there's no option to disable "popups on startup" that I could find in the settings.

I clicked on "No thank you" a dozen times and it wouldn't go away.
my computer beeped me when I tried to click outside of the modal.

I had to force-close Photoshop and Re-open it.

Fine Art P,

In Photoshop go to Edit>Preferences>Technology Previews, check Enable Focus Mode then restart Photoshop and see if that suppresses the pop-ups.

On a Mac it's Photoshop 2025>Settings>Technology Previews

I got one of these again today. Mine says "Drag the canvas outward to expand your image." It popped up about 20 minutes into working. For those of us who already know how to use the features, these are unwelcome interruptions. The fact that they come at random, unscheduled, unrequested times is the worst part of this design.

Unchecking Show Rich Tooltips does not help. Unchecking Show Tooltips does not help. Unchecking all Technology Previews does not help. Closing or hiding Contextual Task Bar does not help.

Have tried uncchecking show rick tool tips and it does absolutely nothing to stop these annoying help cheter pop ups. Have been a user of Photoshop for 30 years but  unless I find a fix I am going to cancel my subscription.

Did you see this post? It was posted  just after yours:

Just found a way to fix...Try to logout your email on help>signout account and re login again.... That works to me! I dont need anymore to hide the contextual bar just to fix the issue. ..

Hopefully this will take care of the issue for you. Let us know!

I can confirm that BellyB solution works! Thanks so much. There shouldn't be really this nagging obstruction in the first place for the majority of users. Reminds me of the old annoying Microsoft Clippy.

Doesn't work for me either. I NEED the contextual taskbar to be open. I wish to use it as it's intended to be used. To have to close it in order to get rid of these very stupid popups is crazy. Adobe needs to give us a better method to turn the pop ups off. I keep getting the one posted above about removing background and it pops up constantly. Sign me very frustrated.
