Hello, 

I'm on MacOS 15.1.1 (24B91) using Version 26.3.0

As soon as I try generating anything on photoshop (Generative Fill / Generative Expand) I have this message, basically saying "To access Firefly's fonctionnalities in Adobe softwares, you need to have authentic Adobe apps" but I actually have a Uni license so I guess its authentic. 

Anyone in the same situation ? Any ideas of how to solve this ? 

I've already tried to uninstall / re install creative cloud as well as Photoshop.

First, it could just be that the licensing has got in knot. Try and update the CC desktop app, which handles the licensing, then sign out of your account and back in again . Your system info does show the current version of Photoshop, so I see no issues there.

If you still have the same problem, after the steps above, you will need to contact your iniversity's IT department.

I have this same issue today, everything was working correctly yesterday and this error today. Also using CC via 

Adobe for Enterprise. I did the above and still the same, my comany IT confirm no change their end. Could you suggest something additional?

Same. Tried downgrading to 26.2 (I'm now back on 26.3) and it worked once but then got the same error as last week again.

Is this a personal machine, or does an IT team manage the device? If yes, ensure all the Adobe Network endpoints are whitelisted.

You can try using Photoshop Web (https://adobe.ly/3WkhVFm) on an alternate device & internet network to rule out it is a network issue.

Same. Didn't work 2 hours ago. Now works and it seems that Adobe turned on the older AI model instead because the quality of generations are approximately as at the time of the launch of this feature - look bad.

Same, it seems like the problem is on adobe and they have not provided a solution. I also have a genuine license through my university.

I have a Creative Cloud Subscription that is up to date-- just updated today. When I try to use the Generate Tools -- which worked fine yesterday -- I now get a pink message saying I need a genuine app to use Firefly tools. There is a button that says "Fix It" that brings me to a page to buy the same Creative Cloud I already pay for! I'm on a Mac, Sonoma 14.7.1 . . . although I thought I updated to Sequoia a couple of days ago.

Hi All! A few hours ago, we had an outage with GenAi tools in Photoshop. The issue is partly resolved on the services side. 

Our team is working on a fix for people with subscriptions through Universities/Institutes. For now, Photoshop Web and Firefly on Web work.

I am a teacher on my company's school plan and it seems that Photoshop is not allowing us to use generative fill. I included a screenshot. It works for me on my personal Adobe account. I have the latest version of Photoshop for both accounts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Any help would be helpful.

I just selected a photo and chose generative fill wrote a prompt and you can see the warning screen come up.

This prompt last night when Im trying to generate in Photoshop. We have subscription and still have credits left. I can use photoshop without problem, and been using AI generative in photoshop, but it's the first time I'm having this problem only when using the generative fill.
