Hi, i cant use generative fill, but yesterday it was woking without this error message, can anyone help?

Hi, I have been using my company's Adobe account and the generative fill functions. Recently I need to switch from the company's Adobe account to my personal one. So I subscribed Adobe Creative Cloud in Thailand. Somehow the generative fill is not working and showing "This feature is not available in your region at this time" after I pressed the "Generate" button and the generative loading bar disappeared. This feature has become one of the most important one for a year and I really need it for my daily works. Please advice.

Hey, @mikec85194763. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I've reviewed the account you've used to log in to the community, and I found an active subscription.

 

Is this a personal machine, or does an IT team manage the device? If yes, ensure all the Adobe Network endpoints are whitelisted.

You can try using Photoshop Web (https://adobe.ly/3WkhVFm) on an alternate device & internet network to rule out it is a network issue.

Hi

Having serious issues with generative fill not working on my mac. It's a company based CC subscription to include photoshop, bridge etc. All 5 of us are having issues within the team. I have just upgraded to the latest Photoshop version to include Firefly 3. Also just updated to OSX Tahoe. Using a 16" macbook pro with M1 chip, 32gb RAM. I've tried rolling back to different older versions and the same issue occurs. My internet is strong and 100mb download speed. Run out of ideas what to try. 

 

The error says 'your request cannot be completed at this time' or something along those lines. 

 

I've got 700 credits on my CC account. Any ideas as I need this sorted quickly?

Can you confirm whether you have OS X or Tahoe? The last version of OS X was 10.15 Catalina. The current version is macOS 26 Tahoe.

 

What did your IT say when you checked with them? It's possible that they have disabled it for you and your team, so we need to check that first.

Hi,

 

Sorry I thought they were all OSX. It's Tahoe 26.0.1. I don't think it's to do with the OS as I had the same issue on the Sequoia 15.7.1. So I upgraded to Tahoe to see if it would fix it.

 

I haven't asked them yet as it's the weekend. How would they have disabled it for us? Is there a setting for that in the back end of the CC subscription setting? Something I can't see.....

I am on an enterprise account through my company. Generative AI features randomly stopped working on my account last week. It used to work fine. I see 2 different errors (in screenshots). My admin has not disabled Generative AI features as I can see I have unlimited access to premium features in my account settings and Adobe even held a seminar for my company on how to use Firefly features. How do I fix this?

I don't have access to Firefly, Adobe Express, and Adobe Photoshop's Generative Fill aren't working either. I have a full Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. Is there a problem?

Thank you for these suggestions. Unfortunately, I've tried all of them and the issue has not been resolved. The "Something Went Wrong" error persists when I try to generate an image.

To make matters worse, the problem has now escalated beyond just generation. The "Generative Remove" feature (the remove tool) has also stopped working and now returns a new, different error:

"Couldn't complete your request, because of a program error."

So now, both core AI functions—generation and removal—are completely non-functional. It seems the initial issue has become more severe on my end. I'm hoping Adobe is aware of these widespread problems and is working on a stable backend solution soon.

Hi, this problem still persists for our entire team, and it begins to become a huge problem!

 

I have tried different DNS servers and VPN connection to rule out some network problems and Geo restrictions. No success. And since I do not think, this is a global problem, it seems it is linked to our specific accounts.

 

Unfortunately, I do not have access to a Photoshop licence outside our company profile (is this still called VIP? Teams? Whatever) to confirm that.

Windows 11 updated to date
Everything Adobe allowed, updated to date and the problem still persists!
It says this feature is not available in your region at this time! 
Last friday, 17 of Oct, it worked fine!

I select a space and ask for generative fill but it appears a sign that says "generative fill is not available in this region" but it's false as I have always used it. I recently changed my account though, any suggestions on how to solve it? I am in Italy

I got the same problem as of today.

"This feature is not available in your region at this time".

Generative Fill is not working in regular version or beta.

Yesterday everything worked fine. I did not change anything.

I live in germany.

Remove function does work though.

Google Nano Banana and Flux Kontext Pro are working fine in Photoshop Beta.

Still no generative functionality within Photoshop for me. It's been days now.

 

I'm getting a new error message I've not seen before:Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 10.02.03.png

Firefly v. 1 does not work either.

I've tried adding a Photoshop exception to the Firewall but nothing has changed.

I couldn't seem to get Photoshop web working at all, so can't test functionality there. As of the 20th of October there is still zero AI / generative functionality in the desktop Photoshop.

We seem to have a Teams license. I will try reaching out to my IT department too.
