Here's another bug that Adobe introduced in this mess of an update
https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop/21-1-0-transform-tool-alt-clic-to-set-axis-point/td-p/10939...
Rolled back to 21.0.3 and all is fine again. did Adobe actually test this update before releasing it

Yes, they are modifying a lot of overlays and such to make them drawn by the GPU and more scalable for HiDPI.

Is it possible that the Reference Point indicator has been scaled up with this update? )(Photoshop 21.1.1 on macOS 10.15.3)

This issue should be addressed by the 21.1.1 update. Let us know if you're still having trouble.

option-clicking and dragging slightly will "pull" the axis point to the cursor location, but seriously, get it together

EDIT: this only happens on one of my workstations running 21.1 - both are Macs, both OS 10.13.6, the one that works has an AMD graphics card, the other is Nvidia. I bring that up because all the 21.1 bugs seem to involve screen drawing.

Thanks. I've asked engineering to investigate.
