P: Color Lookup - Crisp_Winter.look Displaying Black with Windows 11 kb008353 update installed

Using the Photoshop 23.1.1 Release I can not get a specific look file (Crisp_Winter.look) to display correctly

  • When selecting color lookup
  • Then trying to load the 3DLUT File from the pull down menu
  • When selecting the option Crisp_Winter.look the image turns black
  • This is not suposed to happen, however the other look files work as expected
  • I've check the location: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022\Presets\3DLUTs
  • And the file exist.
  • This has worked in the past and I really need this look

 

Can anyone help or suggest a workaround?

    Looks like the LUTS remain broken in 23.2.2 as is the Sys Info, ie PS freezes when attempting to get Sys Info.

    Intel i9, 64Gb or ram 😉

    Oh well 😞

    Both seem to work here. What is broken with LUTs for you?

    And the idea that is proposed to run Photoshop in Windows8 compatibility mode makes Photoshop very slow!!

      when i use the colour look up filter most of the photoshop defaults work fine expet for the ones ending with the extentions .look anyone know how to fix this ? When i use the .look filteres my whole canvas goes black...

        I have reported the error for a long time and the error is known, For most it affects Windows 11.
        It's really about time that it is fixed

        Hallo. Seit einer Neuinstallation von Photoshop fehlen mir einige LUTs, bzw. wenn ich diese auswähle, erscheint ein komplett schwarzes Bild. Ich habe bereits festgestellt, dass die betroffenen LUTs vom Typ LOOKS sind. Im einzelnen betrifft das 2Strip, 3Strip, BleachBypass, CrispWinter, FallColors und SoftWarming. Die LUTs werden mir in der Auswahl angezeigt, bringen aber eben nur ein komplett schwarzes Bild. Kann mir da jemand etwas zu sagen?

        Die Luts funktionieren seit Windows 11 nicht mehr , fehler ust bekannt aber nicht behoben

        That's not a correct answer for Windows 11.  The dropdown menu only go up to Windows 8 (Please remove this as a correct answer)

         

        We just need to know what sliders to adjust on an adjustment layer to produce a manual Crisp_Winter.look

         

        Furthermore the latest version of Photoshop 23.2.0 still has this problem for Windows 11

          Hi,

           

          a fes days ago Photoshop began making trouble:

          When I use "Color Lookup" it ads a new layer, but this is fully black when visble.

          I can't find te reason for that issue. Anyone with the same problem here?

            That's only workaround like said in that topic, where you can vote it to be fixed 😉 Try also Windows 10.

            Guten Tag,

            folgendes Problem tritt mit den oben genannten Programm seit dem letzten Update auf und konnte von mir noch nicht behoben werden.

            Mein System:
            Windows 11 Home 21H2
            Lightrrom Classic 11.2 (Camera Raw 14.2)
            Photoshop 23.2.0
            Graka: NVIDIA GeFrorce GTX 1070 Game Ready Treiber 511.79

            Problem mit Photoshop:
            Nach dem Übergeben eines Fotos zur weiteren Bearbeitung in Photoshop stellt sich folgendes Problem dar: Möchte ich eine Korrekturebene "Color Lookup" einfügen wird das Foto schwarz. Das betrifft (fast) alle Lookups mit der Endung ".look" mit Ausnahme des Lookups: Crisp_Warm.look. Die Lookups mit der Endung ".cube" und ".3dl" funktionieren ohne Probleme.
            Der Dateityp scheint keine Rolle zu spielen. Fehler zeigt sich bei NEF-Dateien, TIFF-Dateien und jpg-Dateien. Auch ein direktes Öffnen verschiedener Dateitypen direkt aus Ps heraus zeigt das gleiche Verhalten.
            Bisherige Lösungsansätze: Neuinstallation unter Löschung aller Vorgaben von Ps ---> kein Erfolg

            So, vielleicht hat der ein oder andere die selben Probleme mit den angesprochenen Anwendungen.

            Danke euch schon mal fürs lesen und antworten.

            Hi

            I'm not seeing the issue on my system with Photoshop version 23.2 and ACR version 12.2, I don't use Lightroom, although I'm on Windows 10 and using the Nvidia Studio driver version 511.65

            There is a workaround to this issue on Windows 11 and it requires going to the Windows compatibility mode.

            How to change Compatibility mode

            1. Find the Photoshop.exe
            2. Right-Click the executable or shortcut file and select Properties in the pop-up menu.
            3. On the Properties window, click the Compatibility tab.
            4. Under the Compatibility mode section, check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box.
            5. In the drop-down box below the checkbox option, select the version of Windows to run the software program under, for compatibility.
            6. Click the OK button to save the settings.

              Bonjour, 

               

              Cela fait quelques temps que mes fichiers LUTs dans " correspondance de couleurs" que j'utilise souvent sur Photoshop pour les photos ou mes illustrations ont des soucis. 

              Cela concerne toutes les extensions .look sauf bizarrement Crisp_Warm.look.

              Un écran noir s'affihce dès que je mets un LUT .look (FallColor.look, Soft_Warming.look)

               

              J'ai pourtant fait toutes les dernières MAJ Photoshop (d'ailleurs la dernière MAJ  a fait disparaître les profils dans "Abstrait et DeviceLink"... où peut-on les retrouver? )

               

              J'ai vu sur certains forum anglais datant d'il y a des années que certains avaient le même problème donc je ne pense pas que ça soit lié à la dernière MAJ. Malheureusement, même sur ces forums, les questions sont restées sans réponse.

               

              J'ai tout mis à jour, Windows 11 dernière version, Photoshop 23.2. Redémarer. 

              Le problème est toujours là!

               

              Pouvez-vous me dire si vous connaissez ce problème et comment vous l'avez réglé?

              I have the following system:

              12th Gen i9-1290K with 64 GB of RAM and NVIDA GeForce RTX 3060 with 12 GB.

              I have the latest GPU Studio drivers and all other drivers are up to date.

              When I use a CLUT adjustment layer and choose certain CLUTs, eg 2Strip look, and, I get a black screen.

              Has anyone any insight into this?
