I have found that, if you try one of the AI-based functions (e.g. generative fill), don't like the results and so remove all the AI-generated content, content credentials are still forcibly added to exported files stating incorrectly "This image combines multiple pieces of content. At least one was generated with an AI tool." This happens even after closing and re-opening the document (meaning that the deletion cannot be undone).
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open any image file
2. Select an area and click "generative fill" then "generate"
3. In the "Generative layer" properties panel, delete each of the three suggestions.
4. In the "Layers" panel, delete the layer called "Generative fill" (including its layer mask)
5. Select File->Export and observe that Content Credentials have been added.
A workround is to copy each layer to a new document, but in reality shouldn't the reference to AI be removed if all the AI-generated content has been deleted? Photoshop version is 25.11.0.
