Hi Everyone - late yesterday the problem was resolved. If you are still having issues with Gen Fill/Firefly please start a new thread with all relevant details!
I used Generative Fill and Generative Expand during most of 2024 without issue. Suddenly, it does nothing.
I'm on an Intel 2020 Mac running Sequoia 15.1.1. I keep updating to the latest version on PS, now on 26.3. I'm on a personal machine with no firewall. Nothing is grayed-out, all permissions are fine.
I've tried making selections on the image, expanding the crop and selecting Generative Expand, it runs the progress bar to completion and then outputs literally nothing. Tried on the base layer, making a new layer, flattening image, nothing works. Just a blank marquee selection or whatever was there initially.
UPDATE: This appears to only happen with certain images, and only ones containing people. These are modeling images in swimsuits, but there is no nudity. Does Adobe have some sort of content filter that is preventing this from working normally?
The router briefly went off and on due to an error, and since then, the Photoshop AI-related features have not worked. I've tried switching the Mac on and off, and I've tried installing the previous version, but I still have the same symptoms.
Yes, I am getting the same error message, both with the final version (26.3) and with the latest beta version. I have no problem with the internet connection, as I am using it with other software and everything works fine. Creative Cloud Desktop is also unable to sync libraries. It seems to be an issue with Adobe's servers.
Generative fill hasnt been working for more than an hour, tried everything : Restart Ps, restart computer, changed project, checked internet connectivity,...
Same here - I even rolled back to 26.2.0 Still not working. Not just me either - my collegue (who works offsite) is also having the same issue. So can rule out any internet issue or it being an isolated issue.
Since I just updated my Macbook Pro to software version 15.3, generative fill in Photoshop gives only error messages when I try to generate something. I tried it in multiple different photos, updated my Photoshop to latest version and set my Macbook off and on multiple times.
