I have updated CC 2015, both Lightroom and Photoshop. I can open Photoshop and can open a photo. Every time I close out a photo, Photoshop crashes with the message, Adobe Photoshop CC has stopped working. It will now close.

I can't use the new update;

This isn't a great solution as it doesn't fix it for everyone, myself included. I have to erase my preferences almost every time I open the application.

This topic is about a crash when closing document windows.

There is another topic about crashes on launch and how to solve them. See http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh...

The Photoshop team is testing solutions to the known issues, as you can already see by reading the existing responses in the topics.

I downloaded the Photoshop CC 2015 yesterday. Issue: when I delete a picture from the work space or exit the program all together, PS freezes and the messaged is that Photoshop is not responding.

Well, I've got Photoshop cc 2015.0.1 update and now my advanced graphics capabilities are hosed. Have a new Nvidia Driver, and a clean reinstall of Photoshop . . but Photoshop crashes when trying to do, for instance, a replace color filter process. Very annoying, considering that everything worked well regarding my graphics processor until the update. And PS Photoshop, the word 'H*ll' is not profanity.

You don't need a workaround - you just need to install the Photoshop update.

I am also having troubles with Photoshop.
It crashes the first 3 times after startup
I have 2015.0.1 release and it's really frustrating
especially since I am giving training Photoshop.

Sometimes I even have to log out of windows 10 because also my mouse isn't working anymore.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this or how can I get the previous version back ?

Thanks

What does the crash log say the faulting module is?

Was this a clean install of Windows 10? Or did you have a system with Photoshop CC 2015 already installed that you then upgraded to Windows 10?

At this moment I don't have the crash so I don't exactly remember what the crash log said.
I already had a system with Photoshop CC on it when I upgraded to windows 10 but I installed after upgrading the last new version of Photoshop CC 2015

How often does it crash? It sounds like it was crashing consistently. Can you get it to crash again and get the crash data? That would give us more clues. It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Directions for sharing your system info from Photoshop:

I used the solution of Adam Jerugim about turning of "Use Graphics processor"
That worked Photoshop didn't crash anymore but the graphics on my screen are bad so I need my grapic processor. I turned it on again yesterday and today Photoshop crashed again. My card is AMD Radeon R7 graphics + R7200 Dual Graphics. My computer is not even a yeat old.
My question is do I need another graphic card or is there something you can do about it in PHotoshop.

First, make sure you have the 2015.0.1 update installed. Then update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website.

You may need to exit and relaunch the Creative Cloud app to get it to see all the updates.
