P: Photoshop can't open, freezes on splash image, uses all of ram trying to open then crashes.

I have googled every possible variation of this problem and tried every fix for this problem, none of them worked. I have tried reinstalling photoshop, deleting everything even remotely related to photohop in the appdata, deleting custom fonts, restarting the computer, updating graphics and computer, and holding every possible combination of alt, ctrl and shift while trying to launch in administrator mode. The result is always the same. It opens the splash image, gets to loading preferences or brushes, spikes RAM usage to every last byte of RAM I have, freezes the computer, then crashes.

And no i'm not running it on a potato i'm running it on an Alienware Aurora 4090, it should have more than enough power to handle this and Photoshop ran perfectly fine for months. Then just today it crashed and has never started up again.

Photoshop version 25.11

UPDATE

We identified a problem with a recent Adobe update that caused Photoshop and several other Adobe beta apps to fail to launch. We’ve released an updated installer to fix this problem. Please download and install the latest Creative Cloud beta applications. This update should resolve the launch issue.

Thanks,

Cory - Photoshop Product Manager

Same issue here since this afternoon, after working in it this morning. Freezes at startup while loading preferences and RAM fills up forcing to close programs. I have already removed photoshop beta and will now try removing all Adobe apps

@Sadim try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to back up your settings before doing the preference reset

Support thru the chat box fixed my problem. I can open photoshop. They
had to fix the problem via remote desktop. Worth it. I think he used the
creative cloud scrub tool or something like that.

Exactement le même problème. L'outil Adobe cloud cleaner tool et la réinstallation de tous les modules, a été la bonne solution même si seulement photoshop 25.11 était affecté ! N'oubliez pas de rajuster vos paramètres après l'installation !

My issue was resolved by adobe support. I started a chat on adobe's
website. I allowed remote access to my desktop and they fixed it.
Photoshop works great now.

My PC froze today while using Photoshop and opening a smart object in Illustrator.

I restared my PC twice but none of my Photoshop versions were opening. They just froze in the loading panel.

I had to unninstall all the adobe apps from my PC and re-install them all again and aparently it's working back again. (but I lost all my preferences...witch sucks)

Delete all versions of Beta apps you have on your system. After that, you should be able to open Photoshop and Illustrator.  Once I opened Photoshop, I reinstalled all of the Beta apps and everything is working fine

I didn't need to use the cleaner app. Deleting all the beta apps got my Photoshop/Illustrator/inDesign back to working.

I contacted Adobe support and solved it on Mac by renaming the "Adobe" folder contained in "Library/Application Support" to "OLD_Adobe"

The correct answer is:

1. Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool.

2. After selecting the language (e) and confirming that you want to continue (y), choose the option "3. CC Apps, Creative Cloud & CS6."

3. A list of all installed Adobe programs (including beta versions) will appear, and each program has a corresponding number. Enter the number corresponding to the beta version and confirm.

4. Repeat the process for each beta version.

The advantage of this method is that it only removes the BETA applications from CC and does not uninstall anything else. The beta applications can still be used if you create a shortcut from the folder where they are installed. Minimum duration and effort.

I am having the same issue on my Mac. But if I pause the sync of shared libraries, all the apps work. You may want to try that before a complete reinstall. There may be an issue with the latest updates and library syncing.  Someone tell Adobe also.
