now I get that message for the purchases of Adobe Photoshop CS 6 Extended. I have already purchased this license since last year. At the previous update is missed. Thought it would be resolved with the update of 13.0.3, apparently not.

Oh really Chris? I can tell you that this occurrence was in tandem with PS giving me the "Trial Version is Over" message. I can also tell you that I have used PS since it's inception..PS 2.0...more than 20 years ago, and consequently have gone through many issues with files, versions and such. This Has NEVER happened to me...it WAS a glitch in this program. Of course you, as an Adobe employee, are obliged to place blame elsewhere. I invite you to Google Photoshop CS6 Meltdown...and read about another professional who had the EXACT same thing happen to his many many hours of work.
Is a mere humane Apology possible with you guys!?! Is empathy possible?
Are you going to delete me again?

13.0.4 was released specifically to fix the licensing problem.

And the licensing problem would not cause a file to be destroyed - generally that happens because of damage to the file on disk.
But you can get artifacts on screen that look similar due to bugs in video card drivers or defective GPUs/VRAM.

Hello Stacy...I recieved your email of your initial response. I can feel your frustration...as I hope you can mine, even if you did not refer to my issue.
You say you've worked with it for 1.5 years...I go back to the very beginning of PS...PS 2.0...no layers. I was a pro retoucher in San Francisco for 18 years. www.caroleonaschstudio.com if your interested. So we both have lots of experience...i used to trust Adobe soooo much...but NOW they are too big and too complacent. I can tell You..PS used to be very reliable. Back in the old days...an Upgrade was really that...an upgrade!
Noe the "upgrade" it just to change it in many instances...downgrading perfectly good tools...so they can say they changed it and rationalize forcing us to not only buy the damn "upgrade", but also upgrading our computers to be able to even use it...BECAUSE as a pro...clients demand the latest and "greatest" wether or not it's any better.
I know that this version of PS is the glitchiest...as in all my eons of using it...I have never had my precious work obliterated, and if enough people get mad enough, and band together...we could do something.

I previously commented to this, however, my comment was censored and removed for not relating to the topic.I've filed a complaint since the panel for removal should be based on both Adobe personal and independent people who remove any replies that do not "satisfy" Adobe.

My contention is that companies that get too big and successful become complacent, and don't spend the time to work with unhappy customers. Furthermore, since there are only 35,000 views to this topic, it's not a high percentage to the total number of users - ergo, Adobe is working at their own pace to resolve the problem. There is no urgency when only a small percentage of people raise the problem There are plenty of other problems with PS, but I can't write them here as it would be "off topic".

I initiated a question a few months ago titled:

Does Adobe Ever Exchange Copies of Photoshop for Honest Reviews? in Photoshop General Discussion?

Why should I as a consumer have to provide information about all the problems or areas in need of improvement that I see every day in Photoshop. I have to admit that maybe my attitude was haughty. I had one "expert" on the Photoshop team who is privileged to Beta testing and writing books castigate me for being an "unknown".

However, I still stand firm about my position. I've worked in Photoshop in the last 1 1/2 years more than in the 20 years that PS was available, and believe me, there are problems, inefficiencies, and weaknesses in all areas of PS, albeit the fact that it is # 1 in image-editing software in the world.

The problem from my point-of-view is that when a company gets too big, it simply doesn't care or care enough for its clients. I've had problems with both Apple OS and MS Hotmail, and they don't care. I don't get any replies to my questions, and the problems even sometimes get worse.

There are over 35,000 people who have visited this particular topic, and Adobe is still working on the problem, without any apologies, or suggestions of compensations for the problems.

Part of the problem is ennui (lack of interest) by the masses who use Photoshop, so Adobe can stand firm and hold their position, as do other big companies in any field.

When it comes to replies on this topic in this forum, it appears to me that the people who do reply to the questions are dedicated "volunteers". They work hard to answer questions to garner points to attain some kind of "status" or "ranking".

On several occasions, I sent to the Adobe Photoshop division several lengthy letters that basically said that I'd write an extensive and exhaustive report about the deficiencies and inadequacies of PS.In return, I'd like a "free" copy of CS7. I never got a reply.

So like everyone else, I simply use PS with its faults and weaknesses. I've tried other software, but because I've used PS for so long, I live with it - warts and all!
The other programs can do most of what PS does, but I've become used to design and architecture of PS, I don;t want to change.

I completely agree with you! The damage the CS6 version has caused people make Adobe rip for a class action suite! Please read my lovely experience:

Last night PS CS6 13.02 which I completely own, started cutting out rectangular holes in a project that represented over a week of work. I was freaked, with no options, I closed out, reopened, and got the dreaded "Trial Version is over message". Afraid to click on "License the software", I went to Adobe for help...HA! what a joke! The chat took forever, only tot have the clueless person on the other of the planet, respond completely off topic then say they could not help me! Adobe DOES have to worst customer service on the planet. So I clicked on it and reentered my serial number. I reopened my file and it was
COMPLETELY DESTROYED! Huge holes cut out of all the layers!!! Never have I felt so violated creatively! I know this has happened to others. SO I downloaded the latest update 13.04...but now I read from other users it doesn't stop the problem. I'm afraid to use the software! It has become malicious!

Every time we open PS6 we are asked about joining the Adobe Cloud. We say no. And, after a week or so of that, we have to re-register our PS6 again. Can you stop this?
