P: Photoshop (v25.5.1 & v25.6) opening with black/blank home screen

Hey folks!

I was working with photoshop and illustrator, then I went to lunch and closed both apps.
When booting them up again, Photoshop "home screen" is black. I can't open recent files.

When I open a saved .psd, the file opens correctly.

Already updated to the 25.5.1 version.

Photoshop 25.x: les calques du document ouvert sont bien là mais pas d'aperçu (Mac Studio).

Solution ?

I updated mac os to 14.4 and the home screen for Photoshop now appears. I think both Photoshop and Mac OS need to be updated to the most recent. PS 25.6 and OS 14.4

Hello all,
I followed Sameer's directions (see pinned reply) but I translated it for Mac, and it worked.
Here are the steps (graphic):

Try to find the pinned post. I tried it many times but it is kind beyond
my code expertise. Gave up last night to get some sleep and it's working
so far this morning... Call Adobe or email them the issue - I did both
several times - maybe that's part of the process - I'll upvote this as I
awoke with several to my posts - and maybe that's part of it too...

Well that is even more strange - I just checked mine again and it's good to
go. Not sure why because it had the Bug for two days and now after trying
everything - it loads fine. I'll upvote this for ya maybe it will help -
And supposedly there is a fix posted from one of the adobe gurus - which I
tried and failed - but maybe it did work- but as of last night I still had
problems. Contact Adobe - that's what I did...

There's a new update available today. It cleared up the problem.

I'm in Windows. Went through all steps, but I don't have a file called:

Run Creative Cloud Content Manager.exe

I have CCXProcess.exe

When I open photoshop I now see no recent files or anything just this....

It's not a game over scenario as I can still access the menu, it's just yet another annoying photoshop anomaly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
