P: Photoshop (v25.5.1 & v25.6) opening with black/blank home screen

Hey folks! 

I was working with photoshop and illustrator, then I went to lunch and closed both apps. 
When booting them up again, Photoshop "home screen" is black. I can't open recent files. 

When I open a saved .psd, the file opens correctly.

 

Already updated to the 25.5.1 version.

    Have same issues - black screen.  File | Open does not open selected images - am completely stuck - are there any updates on this bug please?

      Same problem during a few days on Mac book pro intel. Today back to normal. SNAFU.

      Maybe because I reseted the PRAM (for another reason) , but not sure…

        I revert back to 25.5.1 version that helped didn’t have issues until the

            I rarely use the Home Screen, however after updating to 25.5.1 I just had a black screen when pressing the home button. I had to press the escape key to cancel and return to Photoshop. I then reset prefs and the issue was fixed. I am running OS 12.7.4 and I do receive the following warning/advice regarding 13.4.0:

              Cuando abro Photoshop no me aparecen las opciones previas para abrir nuevo archivo o archivos recientes, alguien sabe como restablecer la configuración para que se vean las opciones nuevamente?

                Try pressing the tab key

                Try selecting another Workspace

                If either of those do not work, try resetting the Photoshop preferences, which you can do under the General tab in Photoshop Settings/Preferences (depending on which version you have), then closing and reopening the application.

                Abro Photoshop y me sale esto en blanco, sin las opciones previas para abrir un archivo nuevo o recientes... 

                Alguien sabe como restaurarlo para que se vuelvan a ver las opciones?

                    Same issue here--blank home screen, and even when a document loads after opening it in recent files, it lags when I try to do anything. Using a brand new Mac M3 Pro so I know it's not my machine. Tried reinstalling and even restarting my computer but to no avail.

                      Worked perfectly for me, thank you. I'm very new to this and just got my Adobe plan last week. I was worried I somehow corrupted the damn thing barely even a week of having it!

                        This makes no sense and does not work on a MAC - Please advise 2 days now and paying a lot to Adobe to creative cloud an all the photoshop goodies - thank you!

                          Have same issue.  Literally working in Photoshop and my home screen just went blank. Can't find anything to bring it back. UGH!
