P: Remove Tool missing on Windows ARM

I'm using Photoshop 25.9.1 on one of the newly released copilot+ PC with SnapDrag. So far the software is working fine but I can not find "remove tool" anywhere. Is this a bug or that feature has not been yet ported on ARM?

Any help is greatly appreciated.  

NOTE: I have used Lightroom and Photoshop since 2021, and I have some decent understanding of how to troubleshoot, and I have exhausted most of my options in troubleshooting. 

I recently bought a new Surface Pro with 64 GB of RAM and 1TB HDD running Windows 11, and I installed Adobe Creative Cloud with Photoshop and then Lightroom in that order.... I noticed a couple of issues 

1. In Lightroom, when I tried to open a raw file by right-clicking edit in Photoshop, this is grayed out 

2. In Photoshop, in the left panel, the Remove Tool is missing.  I tried the custom toolbar option, no luck. I tried Adobe Cleaner, reinstalled the whole suite, no luck.  Also tried installing an older version, no luck

3. I also installed a few plugins like ProPanel and the Extension or Find Extension on Exchange (legacy) option is missing in PS 26.8.0

Called in Adobe support, they tried everything, and no luck.  

NOTE: This is a new laptop running Windows 11 and a new installation of Adobe CC PS 26.8.0

Have you tried: Edit > Toolbar > Restore Defaults > Done to bring back Remove Tool which is grouped with retouching tools?

Thank you for the suggestion, and yes, I have tried that..  and the remove tool option is a no-show. Checked Reddit and a lot of users have also reported similar issues with no resolution for quite some time.

I believe the Remove Tool is not available as of yet on Windows Arm:

Thanks for sharing all the details. As @Bojan Živković mentioned above, we’re currently unable to reproduce this issue on our end. Could you please try resetting your Photoshop preferences to see if that helps?

Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, I have done the cleanup approach, and that did not resolve the issues.  Also, upon additional research, I found that this is a known issue with Adobe products on SnapDragon / ARM-based systems. So at this moment, it seems like there is no solution.

Yes, thank you for the links.  I also happened to find similar issues reported in redit forum, where other users were sharing their frustrations with Adobe not supporting some key features in SnapDragon/ARM-based systems.

Any update on the Remove tool?  It is not just that there are other issues with Photoshop for Windows on ARM.  None of the third-party plugins are working or able to access and edit in Photoshop from Lightroom is disabled and not working...

Tired of waiting for this important feature. Ther're no excuses to not updating it! All AI generated features work just fine... Adobe should explain WHY they don't want to add Remove Tool to Photoshop for ARM.

Imagine... it WORKS ON THE WEB right now, so why isn't working locally, on an ARM proccessor?

Adobe is one of the culprits when people argue about Microsoft and Windows... Because Adobe (an others) do incomplete and buggy software... But rest assure, they surely made Remove Tool for Apple proccessors! Only for the 10% of the population that uses Apple laptops.

More  than a year and still missing. C´mon, just say: "Adobe will not develop Remove Tool for Photoshop on ARM devices". Stop with this non-sense. Adobe clearly doesn't care about ARM PCs.

Too busy raising prices and introducing new features, how could they possibly have the time or interest to finish rolling out the features they already have?

The sad thing is the remove tool option works fine in both Lightroom and Camera Raw, in the Snapdragon/ARM Architecture, it's just that the Photoshop option is not there...

I have the same issue with my new Windows Surface ARM machine.  There is no removal tool.  This sucks big time.  When will Adobe fix this issue?  Also, Adobe still doesn't offer all products for ARM versioned machines.  I love my Windows Surface and don't understand why there is not a priority for their programs working with ARM machines. (FYI, I am finding that this is an issue with other products besides Adobe).
