P: Shortcut to open Last Filter with dialog box doesn't work

Since CTRL-F is now used to find something, the shortcut to apply the last filter is now CTRL-ALT-F. That means we no longer have a shortcut to open the last used filter dialog box so we can alter the settings. Why on god's green earth would Adobe change that? Do they really think we always apply the exact same settings every time we need to apply a filter? This was a shortcut I used dozens of times a day, and now I have to manually select the filter every damned time I need to apply it. Come on Adobe, this is just plain stupid.

Using CC2019 and Windows this bug still seem to be happening. The suggested workaround with re-mapping Ctl-F did not resolve it. No combination of modifiers seems to work. Is this just me, or is this still a thing?

I have tested with the workspace reset to default.

Thanks in advance

On Windows have you tried adding the Command (Windows) key and/or the Shift key to Control-Alt-F?

We've found that Command-Control-Option-F will reopen the Filter dialog on a Mac. But, we can not find a comparable shortcut for the PC. Do you know if there is one? Thanks! 🙂

Thanks, that did the trick!  The last filter dialog is an option I use very often.  For now search successfully is remapped as well.

Thanks. I can reproduce this issue with the Last Filter with Dialog box not working with the default Keyboard Shortcuts. I've logged an issue for engineering. The workaround I could find is to map Last Filter back to the legacy Cmd + F, and then Cmd + Opt + F will bring up the last filter with dialog correctly.

Mac version here but same problem.  The remapping on command F to "search" is not the problem. Opening most recent filter DIALOG (which should be alt/option command F) is missing.  Attempting to assign the shortcut option/alt command F gives the warning that it is already assigned to "open last filter dialog", but that key command is clearly is not functioning.

You're right, but I don't remember doing it. only thing I usually save is workspaces, brushes and actions etc. I sure miss that cloud feature!

That is strange. The only thing I can think of is it preserved your prefs if you already had custom/saved KB Shortcuts (maybe saved with workspace). But it would seem that prefs restore would blast that away. If you go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts... does the pop-up for "Set" say default?
