Nicolas

In the Shape Dynamics dialog which setting are you referring to?

(click on the word Shape Dynamics to see the settings)

Are you using drawing tablet?

Hi,

Yes I use a drawing tablet , a Huion Tablet . I use it since 2022 and it has worked perfectly with my CS2 until I had to change my ssd . Here's a picture of my problem. The setting of shape dynamics works but it doesn't work when I use my pen on my work. probDynamiqueForme.gif

Do the settings for your Huion Tablet have something like Enable Windows Ink?

Photoshop CS2 is a 14 years old and it isn't compatible with new versions of operating systems. It is possible that there are compatibility issues.

Which version of Windows do you use?

What you can try is to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps described here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset-preferences

Please backup your settings before resetting the preferences. You can check:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#backup-photoshop-preferences

Do you have install Windows 10 on your old SSD as an update from Windows 7 etc., or was it a complete reinstallation?

When installing an update, parts of the old version (like libraries and so on) sometimes remain, which can be responsible for the program still working. When you do a complete new installation, these are then missing and problems can arise.
