It should look like this...

Any advice?
Thank you

Try saving at a higher level PDF such as 1.7 or 1.7+ also remove the fast web preview if this is for print work and that should solve the problem.

Thank you for your help, but unfortunately, it didn't work, I have tried all levels, turned off web preview and it is still doing the same?

I have done it, although the only way was to flatten the image before saving as PDF. Maybe a memory issue?

Hi
What "modifications" have you made to the [High Quality Print] preset?

Update: I converted the problem text to shape and it worked.

Exact same issue here. Running latest Photoshop (v23.1), trying to export my images to PDF, and encountering that a few latters are partly white.
I tried playing around with many pdf export settings, without luck.
I need the font layers to be persisted, of course when flattening the image the problem is gone, but that cannot be the solution.

Did you convert to shape?

No, but that's the point: I don't want to convert to shape, as I need/want to embed the fonts in my resulting pdf so they are displayed as (vectorized) fonts, not as pixels.
Of course, that would be a workaround, but it cannot be the solution.

I was in the same situation and found a way to resolve it, although it is a bit trickier. You will need an InDesign for this, but to save the pdf and preserve the type capabilities you need to:
- Save your file as PSD
- Create a new document in InDesign and place the PSD into it
- Export as PDF
Hope this works for you!

But will that not result in the text being output as a pixel image?

I saw a thread on this not long ago in the Acrobat forum. It's a bug with Photoshop PDFs and the last line, as I recall. Some users solved it by using Shift+Return (soft return) for the last line instead of Return (hard return). Can you try that?

I would prefer Type > Convert to Shape in order to maintain vector output in a pdf.

I converted to test to a smart object and it worked.

Again: But will that not result in the text being output as a pixel image?
Have you tried converting (a duplicate of the Type Layer) to a Shape Layer?
