3-D Fundamentals class project help...

I am a studio arts major & have a problem to resolve for my 3-D Fundamentals class. I have a 2-D picture that I need to fit inside of a 3-D 1/2 hollow sphere. The sphere is 10.5" in diameter with an inner curvature length of 16" (side to center to side). Which Adobe program might I use to alter the picture? I have Adobe Creative Cloud apps on my laptop as well as the mobile apps on my tablet. Thanks.

Are you trying to simulate this in a 3D model (viewed on a 2D screen) or are you actually looking for a projection that will be cut out and stuck onto a real 3D shape?
