3D Features

Will Photoshop have the capabilites of adding 3D booleans and sculpting to 3D? I understand there are other softwares that do this.

Hi

Not at the moment and I have not heard of any plans to add it (note I don't work for Adobe). It sounds like you need to use a full 3D application such as Blender 3D which does both.

Dimensions doesn't do Boolean meshes or sculpting

We are working on a few projects that will assist with Sculpting. In the meantime, our 3D offering includes Substance products (for texture and material application to 3D objects), and Dimension (and Ps of course)

Maybe we will get lucky and Adobe will add a full 3D software in the future.  Until then I would just create something in 3D and then if you want to import the image into Photoshop to do editing then do so. 

Dave is right... the feature request page is really great!  There you can give a mention to what you are would like... and the great thing is the more users who voice their thoughts, then the more likely something will happen.  This pretty much goes with anytype of software.... plus you never know... other users may have the same request and just need a person to get the conversation going.
