Is there a way to lock the light source so it does not change position when you move the 3D object?

Hi

What are you actually moving?

If you move the object - then the lighting remains fixed in relation to the camera. However , if you move the camera, then the lighting will remain fixed in relation to the object/scene and therefore will appear to move in the camera frame.

Looks like I was moving the camera not the object. Think I've got it now, thank you for your help.

If you move objects  or camera the lighting is going to look like it changing you are seeing  from a different angle or the lighting from various light sources are illuminating different area of objects.  Light sources should not move I would think unless you change them.  However there are various tppes of light sourced and the are ine the 3D space. So relative position can change when object are moved
