I want to use text alignment only.
Paragraph indentation is not required.
It only takes up space.
Is there a way to show only the text alignment function?

Not sure what you want to ask in first place. You can not customize Paragraph panel. 

 

With Type tool active there are some alignment options in the Options bar, just below menus.
