Action Sets

iMacPro: Photoshop CC 2019

I've created some action sets using both the icon at the bottom and the fly out option. I should be able to drag existing actions into the new action sets, but they are not dropping into the sets properly. I searched the Internet for tutorials and seem to be doing this correctly, but I must be doing something wrong.

Any help would be appreciated. MJ

I don't believe you can have levels of folders in the actions sets.

    Hi

What you asked here and what you said later are two different things. You can move and copy actions from one set to another with drag for move and option + drag for copy, but you can't move a set into a set.

Be sure to save any sets that you modify.

Right...that's why I started the last reply with "Afraid of that..."

    Afraid of that....

I might be able to drag all of the dispersion sets into one zone of my actions, select all of them, and save/export that group to a new name. Then delete them from my actions and import/load them as a group when needed. Not very elegant.

Lightroom has a much better way of organizing develop presets.

As long as Photoshop has been around, you'd think a similar option would be there.

If anyone has a better solution, I'd love to hear it.

I am hoping to add Paintum and Dispersion to the DispersionActions set.
