Adobe Photoshop im Vollbild Modus (ganzer Bildschirm) ausführen

Community Beginner ,

Hallo zusammen,

quoteI switched from Affinity Photo to Adobe Photoshop a month ago. I own a large 32" inch monitor and am a Mac OS user. With Affinity Photo I have the possibility to run the application over the entire screen. With Photoshop, this is apparently not possible. The top edge and dock are always visible when I use the application. There is no real full-screen window. I didn't find anything in the settings... and to solve my problem

Photoshop has three screen modes –

  • Standard screen mode
  • Full screen mode with menubar
  • Full screen mode (no menubar)

You will find them in the View menu.

You can also press F to cycle through them.

I don't know it works on a Mac with the dock, but on Windows you get a true full screen mode.

Might also have something to with the application frame.

Could you please post a complete screenshot with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?

Thanks for the answers but that doesn't get me anywhere... Enclosed two screenshots... the first is Affinity Photo in full screen mode... the second Photoshop... a very expensive subscription is required here and the application can not even be operated in full screen mode... this is REALLY WEAK... FAIL...! I am very dissatisfied, and am now bound to the ABO...

Open a file, and Full screen mode should work.

Is it different on Mac?

Here on Windows it works as described by Per Bernsten with a cycle of three presses of F

The first press of F removes the windows taskbar, but leaves the application tools menus and panels. The image takes up all the work area that is not used by toolbar and panels.

The next press of F shows just the image (and rulers if present) - no tools or panels

The next press of F restores the normal Photoshop window and shows the Windows taskbar again

"Is it different on Mac?"

It's the same on macOS, Dave. 😊

@Pixelmath wrote

That's right... then the full screen mode works without tools... and that's not the desired goal... but I still like to post here Affinity Photo at Adobe in the forum... No problem... the program interface of Photoshop does not allow full screen mode... Affinity Photo but yes...

In addition:

  • Tab will hide  all of the panels; Shift+Tab will hide the right-hand panels.
When hidden, you can move your mouse to the edge to spring them open, use a tool or panel, then they will collapse again. It takes a little practice. These shortcuts are toggles.
  • You can auto-hide the Dock in Apple menu > System Preferences
  • Press "F" slowly to see the three stages of full screen mode.
  • You can't hide the menu bar in any application. How did you hide it with Affinity?
  • In Affinity you have floating panels. In PS they are docked. You can float them by dragging.

Possibly what you are saying is that you are in a 33.33% zoom in Photoshop and have dark space around your image? If that's the issue, zoom in. Cmd+0 is the shortcut for Fit in Window (View menu). Could that be what you are asking?

Keep in mind, though, that 100% is the best zoom for making certain decisions.

Jane

... die Programm Oberfläche von Photoshop erlaubt keinen Vollbild Modus...

Was soll das bedeuten?

Natürlich kann man in Photoshop in Full Screen Mode arbeiten.

Habe Sie Application Frame deaktiviert?

I believe the op is referring to the fact that other mac applications like Affinity can use the macOS Full Screen mode, while photoshop cannot.

Ah, the similar names were conducive to my misunderstanding.

There are some differences between windows and mac when in Photoshop's Full Screen mode, the main difference being that on a mac in Photoshop's Full Screen mode one cannot access the Menu Bar or Dock, which is why having photoshop be able to use the macOS Native Full Screen Mode is very important.

In fact as far as i know, photoshop 7, cs and cs2 were the last photoshop applications on the mac os x side that one could access the menu bar and dock without leaving Full Screen mode. Sadly starting with photoshop cs3 adobe removed the ability to access the menu bar or dock in Full Screen mode.

In photoshop 7.cs and cs2 while in Full Screen mode one just had to press Shift+F to see the menu bar and dock and press Shift+F again to hide the menu bar and dock.

cs2 Full Screen

Welche »störendenden Elemente« bedrücken Sie in Photoshops eigenem Full Screen Mode?

Hey..., [abuse removed by moderator]...

@Pixelmath  Your replies are becoming abusive, first making sweeping statements about windows users then targeting a forum volunteer. Please keep your replies civil in this forum.
