I would be grateful for some advice on restoring an old photo. It looks to me like it may have been tinted sepia at the outset, rather than gone yellow with age. Do you agree? Should I am to repair the blemishes and not mess with the colouring, or should I make it more naturally sepia, or turn it into a black and white?
Grateful for some advice with this.
David
Hi David,
Looking at the border and edges of the photograph, it seems that the original image was intended to have a sepia tone, however, the image turned orangish yellow because of aging. To give it a more natural look you can keep the image in sepia tone and keep the border color a dull white color.

Sahil
