All my recorded actions disappeared

Suddenly all of my recorded actions have suddenly disappeared. I have recorded many and use them daily. I have not made any manual backup of the actions (had no idea this was needed - seems quite "ancient") and cannot find any files in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2021\Presets\Scripts and in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2021\Presets\Scripts there is only one file savejpgscript.jsx (1.33 kB).

Have I lost all my actions for good (at the moment I am quite upset at this)?

    Thanks! How come Photoshop hasn't fixed this - seems idiotic that this requires a manual backup....?
