Anti-Alias greyed out / Not working

Hi folks,

Anit-aliasing doesn't seem to be working on my laptop.

1. The toggle is greyed out.

2. Menu -> Type -> Anti-alias greyed out.

3. Same with smart and not-so-smart objects.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You are not showing the Type menu or Text. It's not clear what you mean by this line. Please clarify.

Instead, you have drawn a shape, are in the middle of Free Transform, and are zoomed in to 309%. What happens if you accept the tranformation by clicking the checkbox and change the zoom to 100%?

Well spoted.

I'm new and was neither aware of what tools anti-aliasing is supposed to be working with, nor the impact of zooming.

Had a proper look and everything is working as expected.

Hey Cory,

Thanks for your patience.

1. I updated the GPU drivers to the latest version.

2. Ensured Photoshop.exe is using RTX 3070.

3. Increased scratch volume to ~150gb

4. Restarted the PC after each step.

Sadly, anti-alias is still greyed out...

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
