Any Way to Disable Asset Generator for a Group of Assets?

Hi,

I'm using asset generator to export 200-300 assets for a UI layout.

Is there a way to turn off one of the groups of assets? Maybe some syntax I could put in the group name? For example the top hud group doesn't need to keep exporting assets when I'm working on the bottom hud.

...and yeah, turning off Generate > Image Assets works, but it turns it off for all assets in the file.

You can convert the group into a smartobject. All assets inside the group will be deleted from the output folder and stop generating. Once you convert the smartobject back into layers, the assets will start generating again

    Hi philj7,

    Currently you can only turn off all the image assets of a file via Generate > Image Assets or you may select Edit > Preferences > Plug-ins, select Enable Generator and then Click OK.

    I'd recommend you to request for a feature https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family so that our Engineers can look into it.

    Hi There!

    I found that crema and assets-generator are causing an "Unknown Javascript Error" making the generator to restart, this is causing problems to my plugins as a process is still in the queue of generator core, thus my process sent to generator core gets lost.

    Wondering if there is another way to disable asset-generator and crema programmatically.

    I found that removing these plugins from the /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC 2019/Adobe Photoshop CC 2019.app/Contents/Required/Plug-ins/Generator/ Folder Solves the issue.
