How can we bring back the writing below that has been erased by the paper coming up? I have so many pages in the book, if any friend can tell me it will be very kind. i marked this in red

If the image is on one layer, you can't retrieve what was underneath, as the pixels have been replaced by new ones.

From what I see in your picture:

 

It looks like an Arabic transcription of an parchment book you are trying to preserve digitally. Is the paper already lying on the page in reality and you are trying to decipher the writing?

 

Perhaps it is a transparency issue (the backing canvas being a black and white grid), in that case, you can create a new canvas (colour pertains to what the light paper is best visible in clarity) -- and then type the size or pixel of the canvas size box that the paper can fit on (otherwise, you can just create a large box and crop later).

 

The paper is the first layer. The writing is the second. Is that correct? You would need to press the lock symbol to unlock, so the image is not static, if an layer issue.

 

You can implement options like screen and multiply and lighten. You can also select Levels and auto enhance, using Curves, image colour saturation (RBG).
