Background Removal - Does Adobe ever update the model?

There are two background removals - on is local and on is cloud. For either - I am curious if adobe ever imrpoves the background removal or select subject. 

We did a few tests a few months ago and found adobe to be pretty good but not #1. 

So just wondering when/if these are updated and how often, so we can test again to see if its a measurable improvement.

Hi Alex, these are typically under continual review and improvement.

As users define issues or workflow improvements things get better.

For local, these improvements will happen as you install new versions or betas.

For cloud, these can happen at any time.

So you might see improvements in one or another depending when you try.

Best to keep an eye on release notes to clue you in.

I tested select subject with local device processing on v2109 vs. v2021:

Comparing v2021 vs. v2024 there was no difference.
