I have an action that resizes image, resizes canvas and then centers the image.
It worked perfectly so far and I sometimes use it on hundreds of files at once.
But recently it does not work.
Each step is there, PS opens up the image, opens up the resize dialouge, but i have to manually press OK, and then for next dialouge etc. This defeats the batch process.
Have you unticked unneeded checkboxes in front of your Actions commands?

Yes, this worked. Now I feel dumb.
I just do not understand how these things got ticked in the first place.

@Taavi98A4 – How did you go with the suggestion from Kukurykus?

Hi Taavi98A4,
I encountered a similar error yesterday, December 1st, 2021.
This cost my superior's company money due to a large delivery of images being delayed.
I am a high end photo retoucher with over 20 years of experience.
I have written an action for converting hundreds of apparel images to PNG.
The action runs "Export - save for web (legacy)" with specific settings to keep the file size under 5MB, as per client request.
Here is an image of the Action window:
Up until yesterday "automate - batch" with this action has worked fine.
As of yesterday it no longer works with Photoshop 23.0
The file sizes (normally under 1MB) are much larger than a "save for web (legacy)" PNG should be (now over 15MB)
If I run the action one image at a time it runs perfectly fine. But anything over 1 image no longer works properly.
Here is an image of the "automate batch action" window:
I am downloading an older version of photoshop in order to meet deadlines today.
Have you found a solution to this new bug?
Sincerely,
John the Retoucher at Space & Light
