Best plugins for portrait manipulation?

Have only just started to Photoshop, slowly getting used to it. I see there are an amazing number of plugins (free and to buy) - has anyone got any suggestions for plugins that can be used on portarits to generate various effects? I know I can go through all these plugins (which I am), but it would be great if people had some suggestions.

@Steven33639232nnsv thats a pretty vague ask - what specifically are you trying to do with portraits? Do you have examples you can show?

Any filters that can be applied to portraits (people and pets) that would make good gifts etc...I have put a few examples, but I don't mean to exactly like the exmples, but filters that can make a portrait even more interesting.

Some of this can be done directly in Photoshop via scripting.

Thank you, I realise much of what I want to achieve can be done via Photoshop, which I will pick up along the very long journey I have started....appreciated!
