Hi Folks,
I'm so old school that I actually started using Photoshop when it was first released on a 3.5 floppy disk (no lie).
I've been using an old legacy desktop version for ages and stuck in my antiquated ways. It was all good because I was just creating graphics for my own business. But since life likes to biach slap you every so often, I've now found myself in a position that I need to seek freelance design work to supplement my income.
I got a new computer system and switched from my old version to Adobe Creatine Cloud. $@# I feel like I was just released from a time capsule...
Can someone recommend a organized tutorial series (preferably FREE) that can get an old proficent user up to speed with the modern versions and features?
I know there are tons of free tutorials on YouTube but, I prefer a series that can do the job efficently in the shortest amount of time possible. Thank you so much in advance!

There IS useful stuff in there when you hit a bump in how something is different to the old version.

One thing Adobe had changed since the old days is that they have added a large number of tutorials you can open from within Photoshop itself. Some of these are hands-on, which means you get files for practicing the lesson.
Home screen, Learn category. When you start Photoshop, the Home screen has a category called Learn. Click that, and you get a screen full of tutorials.
Search. Choose Edit > Find. That opens the Discover panel. Currently, the Discover panel has a Video Series category at the top. Those are tutorial videos. The second category is Hands-on Tutorials, and the third category is Tutorials.
Help > Hands on Tutorials. Choosing this command leads to the same Hands-on Tutorials as above.
Short tool tip tutorials. If you pause the pointer over a tool, most have an illustrated description and a button you can click to watch a short tutorial video. If you want to know more, you can find a longer tutorial in one of the sources above. (This won’t work if Rich Tool Tips are disabled in Preferences/Tools.)
So, Adobe has gone to a lot of effort to put training inside the application itself. Because it’s not just you, everyone is challenged by the Photoshop learning curve.
