Nov 02, 2024 Nov 02, 2024

Hello everyone,

I have an HP Probook 650 G1 which has core i5 4th gen processor, GPU: Intel hd graphics 4600, RAM: 8gb.

I would highly appreciate if someone guides me what is the best and compatible version of Adobe PS supporting these specs and run smoothly on my laptop.

Adobe offers the current and one previous versions of their applications. Here are the system specs for Photoshop:

While 8gb is the minumum recommended, and there will be some things you won't be able to do. At least 16 is recommended.

Your GPU needs to have feature level 12 or later.

Intel HD 4600 has feature level 11.1, which does not meet Photoshop's current system requirements.

The best bet is version 22.2 from 2021, which is still available in the CC app. But it's a bit risky to sign up for a new subscription with those hardware specs. You may be in for a disappointment. At least do a 7 day trial run first. They'll ask for your credit card number, but it won't start drawing as long as you make sure to cancel within those 7 days. If you don't do anything, the subscription will start running. So read the fine print.
