The printer is a Canon ip8750, but I wont be checking the 16 bit images as they arent 16 bit, but I was just describing all the settings I see.

I have tried old images that printed perfectly with my from my retired machine using the same printer.

But I will read your articles and try again.  It will have to be next week.

But this is now getting to the point of being insane.

My workflow is normally take photo with camera in DNG Raw, camera being either a Leica SL Type 601 or a M11, develop in  Camera RAW, sometimes process in NIK, print using Printer manages colours.  In the case of the offending images they have been converted to greyscale i.e. Black and White.

I do wonder if I should just de-install and re-install photoshop.  Crazy as I have used photoshope for years without issue.  I don't use Lightroom.

Do NOT use the "send 16-bit" check box if this is an Epson! 

What is the printer, what is the color space of the document? Can you provide a screen capture (or better a link to download) the image in question? 

You should always test output using good color reference images designed for that task. The color reference images RGB values are such that they are set for output and are editing and display agnostic. Test the output this way and examine for the same color issues so we know it's not your image-specific issues causing the problems:

You can change your document profile under Edit>Convert to profile. A P3 display is an odd profile for printing. Try changing your image to 8 bit (printable) and see if the color improves.

The printer settings are default with the Printer Driver 3.0, other than that I dont know how to change the printer settings on the printer itself, but I went through the various tests with Canon and it tests as normal

In Photoshop the Colour Management settings are 

Colour Handling - Printer manages colours (which is how it used to be set when it worked, tried all options, makes no difference)

Document Profile: Display P3 (Don't know what this means or how to change it)

Rendering Intent: Relative Colourmetric (Ive tried all options, makes no difference)

Printer Settings - Default Settings, if I am printing Black and White I check the box

I havent checked the box "Send 16 bit data" (note the files are 14 bit DNG raw files out of camera, converted and saved as JPeg

hi @Marcus24689305apo8 try holding the space bar down when going to File/Print - it will reset the dialog box.
