Black brush tool does not work on layer mask

Question

When trying to blend two images together using a layer mask and the brush tool I am facing a problem: I can use white to reveal more of the image and edit the layer mask but not the black brush tool black to make parts of the image not visible anymore. Please help!

Hi @Jasmin22360512hygq ,

Your brush mode is set to Linear Dodge (Add) on the Control panel.

Change it to Normal and you should be golden.
