Blank batch dialog box remains on screen when batch is completed

Blank batch dialog box remains on screen when batch is completed. No way to close dialog box as it is completely blank. Have to close photoshop and restart to get rid of dialog box.

Photoshop 25.1.0

MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1

Automate > Batch > play action > OK

expected result: batch automation completes and dialog box disappears

actual result: batch automation completes but dialog box (without contents) remains. Have to close photoshop and restart to get rid of box.
