Blank Tool Tips - Photoshop

New to PS. Just downloaded it and the task (info) boxes that show up before clicking tasks on left side of screen (brushes, lasso, etc) are completely empty. No text at all. How do I correct this?

That should not be happening, could you please try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and let us know if it helps? https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Problem resolved. It was the nut on the keyboard. 👴
